Frequently Asked Questions
How much does delivery cost?
Standard UK delivery costs £6.45. Delivery is complimentary on orders over £50.
What is the difference between Extra Virgin Avocado Oil and Natural Avocado Oil?
Our Extra Virgin Avocado Oil is cold-pressed, unrefined and retains the distinctive flavour and character of the avocado. Our Natural Avocado Oil is mechanically refined to produce a more neutral flavour, making it particularly versatile for everyday cooking.
What can I use BLANK AND STONE® Avocado Oils for?
Both oils are wonderfully versatile. Extra Virgin Avocado Oil is particularly suited to dressings, dipping, drizzling and finishing dishes, while Natural Avocado Oil is ideal for roasting, frying, baking and general everyday cooking.
Are your Avocado Oils suitable for high-temperature cooking?
Our Natural Avocado Oil is particularly well suited to higher-temperature cooking, including roasting and frying. Extra Virgin Avocado Oil is more distinctive in flavour and is especially enjoyable in dressings, dips and as a finishing oil.
Where do your Avocado Oils come from?
BLANK AND STONE® receives its Avocado Oils from specialist European suppliers, with Extra Virgin Avocado Oil supplied through Spain and Natural Avocado Oil supplied through France. The Avocados are grown in East Africa - predominantly Kenya. Our oils are carefully selected and bottled in Cheshire, England.
How should I store my Avocado Oil?
Store your Avocado Oil in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the bottle securely closed when not in use. Refrigeration is not necessary.
Can I purchase BLANK AND STONE® Avocado Oils as gifts?
Yes. Our Avocado Oils are available in beautifully crafted wooden presentation boxes, including single-bottle and double-bottle gift sets. They make thoughtful gifts for food lovers and special occasions.
